Documentaries, commercials and digital stories — cut with curiosity, rhythm and care.

About me
Growing up, I was always a curious kid. My brother’s camera became the perfect outlet for that curiosity. I picked it up, learned how it worked, and photography quickly became a hobby. Through the lens, I learned to observe — to notice details, expressions, and emotions, and to tell stories through still images.
That curiosity eventually led me to cinema. By the time I entered university, I had already watched hundreds of films, fascinated by the worlds they created and the ways they could make us feel and think. So when I got the opportunity to study film formally, I took it.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Film, at the Department of Television, Film and Photography, University of Dhaka. University gave me a strong foundation in visual storytelling, but I wanted to understand what happens beyond the screen — to experience the process of bringing ideas to life and to learn by doing. Once again, curiosity pushed me forward. I joined a production house as an Assistant Director, gaining hands-on experience on professional productions and learning how different creative and technical departments come together to build a story.
Since then, I have worked across short films, television productions, documentaries, branded content, and humanitarian storytelling, collaborating with diverse teams, audiences, and institutions.
At the core of it all, I am still driven by the same curiosity that first drew me to a camera: to observe, to understand, and to find better ways of telling stories.

Selected projects
I believe editing is more than assembling images and sound. It is where a story finds its rhythm, voice, and meaning. An editor can reshape a piece, elevate what is already there, and sometimes discover a narrative that was hidden within the footage.
